In 2022, a film, called Olivia’s Story, was made by North Wales Police in a bid to deter young drivers from reckless behaviour on the roads. Mathew Chandler, The Free Press reports on its use in schools.

“It’s shown in a lot of schools in this area, and I got a lot of positive feedback from people around here saying how inspirational it is, and how amazed they’ve been by it. But it infuriates me that it’s not gone further. I’d like it all over the UK.
Jo and Crystal Owen, the mother of Harvey Owen, who was one of four teenagers killed in a crash in Gwynedd in 2023, are aiming to have the film used for educational purposes more widely.
